Drinking window: 2024 – 2034
The 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Vallocaia Riserva is dark and brooding in the glass, mixing sage and wilted violet aromas with crushed wild berry and clove notes. It is silky in texture yet lifted and spry, with juicy red fruits that coast across a wave of brisk acidity as perfumed inner florals arch throughout. This leaves a coating of edgy tannins and a bitter tinge of sour citrus on the palate, finishing with admirable length and youthful tension.

Drinking window: 2026 – 2032
The 2021 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano I Quadri opens slowly in the glass, displaying a pretty mix of blue and purple flower notes alongside hints of spice and black cherries. This is a soft and round effort, perfumed with violet inner florals. Cool-toned acidity enlivens its core of ripe wild berry fruits. The 2021 tapers off classically dry and with staining length yet
maintains a lovely freshness as nuances of tart blackberry slowly fade. The balance here is gorgeous.

The 2021 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano lifts from the glass with an intense burst of black raspberries, sweet smoke and wild herbs. It’s soft and round, with mineral-inflected red and black fruit notes swirling over a core of tactile minerals. Violet inner florals linger on as the 2021 tapers off gently tannic and spiced with a perfumed character.

Drinking window: 2024 – 2028
The 2022 Rosso di Montepulciano Fossolupaio bursts from the glass with a vividly ripe blend of crushed wild berry, sweet sage and violet scents. It’s soft-textured with a lifted feel and crisp red fruits that flow throughout. This finishes with medium length and a pleasantly bitter tinge of wild blueberries.
